Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Cure Healthcare Services Limited recognises its responsibility to prevent and mitigate the risk of modern
slavery and human trafficking within our organisation, our workforce and our supply chain. We operate a zero-
tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking and are committed to
conducting our business in an ethical, transparent and responsible manner.
We maintain robust recruitment, safeguarding, procurement and quality management processes designed to
identify, prevent and manage the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking. Our recruitment
procedures include appropriate pre-employment checks and due diligence, and we take reasonable steps to
ensure that individuals working on behalf of the organisation are not subject to exploitation.
When engaging with new suppliers and contractors, we undertake appropriate due diligence and consider the
potential modern slavery risks associated with the nature of the service, the workforce and the supply chain.
Where higher-risk activities or suppliers are identified, we may apply enhanced due diligence and monitoring
measures.
Training, Awareness and Capacity Building
Cure Healthcare Services Limited recognises that effective training and awareness are essential in enabling our
workforce to identify, prevent and respond appropriately to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Relevant staff receive training and awareness regarding modern slavery and human trafficking, including the
different forms of exploitation, potential indicators of modern slavery, the risks associated with vulnerable
workers and recruitment practices, and the appropriate procedures for reporting and escalating concerns.
We seek to build the capability of our staff through ongoing learning, supervision and awareness-raising. Staff
are encouraged to remain vigilant and understand their responsibilities in identifying and reporting any
suspected modern slavery, trafficking, forced labour or exploitation. Where appropriate, additional guidance
or training is provided to staff whose roles involve recruitment, safeguarding, procurement, management or
interaction with potentially vulnerable individuals.
Training and awareness are reviewed periodically to ensure that staff remain informed of their responsibilities
and any relevant changes in legislation, guidance or organisational procedures.
Reporting Concerns
All staff have a responsibility to report concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking through the
organisation’s established reporting and safeguarding procedures. Concerns are taken seriously, appropriately
documented, investigated and escalated where necessary.
We are committed to maintaining an organisational culture in which staff feel able to raise concerns without
fear of retaliation.
Although Cure Healthcare Services Limited is not currently required by law to publish a modern slavery
statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily publish this statement as part of
our commitment to ethical employment, safeguarding, responsible procurement and the prevention of
modern slavery and human trafficking.
We will continue to review our policies, procedures, training, due diligence and quality monitoring
arrangements to identify opportunities for improvement and to strengthen our approach to preventing
